Selecting the NHL All Stars for 2009-10 season

The NHL would be having an All Star game around now if not for the season closing down and heading to the Olympics next month in Vancouver. I have decided to take a look at the teams around the league and select an All Star team for both the Eastern and Western Conferences based on this seasons performances.

Note: We are making sure to select one player from each team

Eastern Conference

Martin Brodeur (New Jersey Devils)
Dwayne Roloson (New York Islanders)

Defensemen (6)

TOMAS KABERLE (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Mike Green (Washington Capitals)
Chris Pronger (Philadelphia Flyers)
Tobias Enstrom (Atlanta Thrashers)
Zdeno Chara (Boston Bruins)
Joni Pitkanen (Carolina Hurricanes)

Forwards (12)

Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh Penguins)
Evgeni Malkin (Pittsburgh Penguins)
Alexander Ovechkin (Washington Capitals)
Niklas Backstrom (Washington Capitals)
Marion Gaborik (New York Rangers)

Western Conference

Goalies (3)

Miikka Kiprusoff (Calgary Flames)
Ilya Bryzgalov (Phoenix Coyotes)
Niklas Backstrom (Minnesota Wild)

Defensemen (6)

Duncan Keith (Chicago Black Hawks)
Dan Boyle (San Jose Sharks)
Drew Doughty (Los Angeles Kings)
Shea Weber (Nashville Predators)
Erik Johnson (St Louis Blues)
Niklas Lidstrom (Detroit Red Wings)

Forwards (12)

Henrik Sedin (Vancouver Canucks)
Joe Thornton (San Jose Sharks)
Dany Heatley (San Jose Sharks)
Patrick Marleau (San Jose Sharks)
Brad Richards (Dallas Stars)
Corey Perry (Anaheim Ducks)
Ryan Getzlaf (Anaheim Ducks)
Patrick Kane (Chicago Black Hawks)
Anze Kopitar (Los Angles Kings)
Paul Stastny (Colorado Avalanche)
Rick Nash (Columbus Blue Jackets)
Dustin Penner (Edmonton Oilers)

I know as is every year some players that people think should be there are not which I'm sure is the case with the two teams I've selected. Would you add anyone else? Who would you take out considering the NHL wanting a player represented from each team.
